DMCA Policy

Effective Date: July 13, 2026

Techy Monster respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users, contributors, and content sources to do the same. We operate www.techymonster.com (the "Site") in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are properly reported to us using the procedure described below.

1. Our Commitment

All articles, images, and other content published on Techy Monster are either originally created by our team and contributors, properly licensed, sourced from royalty-free/public domain repositories, or used with permission. We take reasonable steps to ensure content on the Site does not infringe upon the copyrights of others.

If you believe that content appearing on our Site infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that content on our Site infringes your copyrighted work, please send a written notice ("Notice") to our designated agent that includes all of the following information, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works).
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to allow us to locate it — such as the exact URL(s) of the page(s) in question.
  • Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Where to Send Your Notice

Please submit your DMCA takedown notice through our Contact Form at www.techymonster.com, specifying "DMCA Takedown Request" in your message.

Note: Notices that do not comply with the above requirements may not receive a response. We recommend consulting 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) or an attorney before submitting a notice, as knowingly making false statements in a takedown notice can result in liability for damages.

3. Our Response Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA Notice, we will:

  • Review the claim to confirm it meets the requirements outlined above.
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material as expeditiously as possible.
  • Notify the party who posted or is responsible for the content (where applicable) of the removal.
  • Document the claim and our response for our records.

We reserve the right to remove content that we believe, in good faith, infringes the copyright of a third party, even in the absence of a formal DMCA Notice.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district (or, if outside the U.S., an appropriate judicial district), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA Notice.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may, at our discretion, restore the removed content within a reasonable time, unless the original complainant informs us that they have filed a court action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringer from engaging in infringing activity.

5. Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right, in appropriate circumstances, to disable or terminate the accounts or contribution privileges of users or contributors who are determined to be repeat infringers.

6. Third-Party Content and Links

Techy Monster may feature guest posts, contributed articles, or links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the copyright practices of external sites we link to. If you have a complaint about content hosted on a third-party site, please contact that site directly.

7. Contact Us
